Join In On The Fun As We Celebrate Dick Biondi's 88th Birthday!

This Sunday (September 13th), on what will be his 88th birthday, Reel Stories Productions will be hosting a virtual Dick Biondi Birthday Celebration and Fundraiser for the authorized film documentary being put together to commemorate and celebrate the career of the legendary rock and roll disc jockey … and we’re here to invite you to the party!

It all kicks off at 2 pm CDT and runs “until the music ends” and will be broadcast live from The Official Dick Biondi Film Facebook Page:

Headlining the event are Chicago’s own New Colony Six, with performances by Carl Giammarese, Jim Peterik, Dennis Tufano, Jimy Sohns, Marshall Thompson and The Chi-Lites, The Chicago Experience, American English, The Blooze Brothers, Maggie Aliotta and the Cave Dwellers, The Meteors, Rosie and the Rivets, Windy City Elvis, Hot Rocks and more.  Birthday wishes from Ronnie Rice, Frankie Avalon, Tommy James, Tommy Roe, Neil Sedaka, Tony Orlando, Bill Medley, actor Joe Montagna, Tom Doody and Robert Lamm, Lee Loughnane and Jimmy Pankow of Chicago … and many more … will also be featured … and, if you act quickly, YOU can wish Dick a Happy Birthday, too!

Just email a short video of yourself and your birthday greeting to pam@dickbiondifilm.com … but they MUST be received TODAY, September 10th, for a chance to be included.

A suggested donation of $10 (of course, we’ll take more!!!) will help toward completing post-production costs of the authorized film documentary about legendary DJ Dick Biondi, The Voice That Rocked America:  The Dick Biondi Story, directed and produced by Pamela Enzweiler-Pulice.

Hosted by Pam Pulice, Joe Farina, Scott Mackay and John Records Landecker (and other surprise guests), this promises to be a fun filled
birthday celebration.

Biondi is the first disc jockey to play a Beatles record in America.

He was also the #1 DJ in America in the early ‘60’s.  He promoted the early records of Bobby Darin, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley … and was one of the first DJs to play rhythm and blues records in the south.  He introduced The Beatles on stage at The Hollywood Bowl … and is a member of the Radio Hall Of Fame, Illinois Radio Hall of Fame, the Southern Tier Broadcasters Hall of Fame and The Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame … (and has probably been fired from more stations than most disc jockeys have ever even dreamed of working for!!!)

Please join in on all the fun … THIS SUNDAY, September 13th, at 2 pm CDT …

And get your birthday video in NOW so that you can be included in all the festivities!
