HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

A Halloween Treat from Chuck Buell ...
The Cool Ghoul!!!

I thought this Headline sounded like the lead to a possibly interesting story ~~~

"The Most Popular Halloween Costume the Year You Were Born"

And then I read the sub-headline!

"This is what costumes were the best, from 1950 through 2005."

From 19-50?!
Where's our pre-1950 years?!
So, I did a little digging for us myself.
Here're some of the costumes around the years WE were born ~~~

And there you go, Sir!  Or Ma'am!

CB ( which Stands for "Costumes Boy!" )

Oh wait ...

He's not done!!!

Still looking for a last minute Forgotten Hits type of Halloween Costume?!

I'm thinking you could just ask Kent if you could borrow something from his old closet!

BTW, looking at those Pants, how'd he ever know if he put them on backwards or not?!

CB  ( which STILL stands for "Costume Boy!" )

Those pants were designed that way for a very specific reason ...

Getting dressed quickly in the dark and escaping out some bedroom window the minute her husband got home!!!

Ahh ... the '70's!

But shame on you ...

You've managed to leave out one of the most important aspect of that get-up ...

What happened to my extra pair of socks?!?!  (kk)

Happy Halloween, Everybody ...

But not so much for Ray Charles, I guess!  Read on ...

60 YEARS AGO TODAY:

10/31/64 – Ray Charles is arrested by Logan Airport customs officials in Boston and charged with possession of heroin. This was his third drug charge, following incidents in 1958 and 1961. Charles avoided prison after kicking the habit in a clinic in Los Angeles, but spent a year on parole in 1966.

Also on 10/31, Barbra Streisand’s “People” album goes to #1 for 5 weeks

Also on 10/31, Joan Baez comes out on stage to sing three songs during a Bob Dylan concert in New York  (The two are believed to be dating at the time)
