12/27/64 – After THREE back-to-back-to back #1 songs (“Where Did Our Love Go,” “Baby Love” and “Come See About Me”) The Supremes FINALLY make their first appearance on “The Ed Sullivan Show.”
Tonight they perform their latest chart-topping single, “Come See About Me.”
They capture Sullivan’s heart immediately and become regular performers on his Sunday Night Showcase, ultimately making twenty appearances on Ed’s program between 1964 and 1969.
