A very special thank you to all of you who sent special birthday wishes yesterday ...

Including everybody who sent along video greetings, which were played at my family birthday party Sunday evening!

Daughter Nicki collected video tributes from many of our Forgotten Hits Readers, friends and family and put together a beautiful collage of tributes.  It was quite emotional ... kinda like being at your own funeral and hearing all the nice things everybody was saying about you ... even the ones that weren't true!  (You know who you are!!!)

Anyway, thanks again ... it was a VERY special milestone birthday ... and I truly and sincerely appreciate it.  (kk)

Gonna take a guess that neither Cardi B nor Beiber/Laroi will make the cut. But hey, you've surprised me before.

Happy Birthday and many more.

Here's a Special Announcement from our self-proclaimed Forgotten Hits Radio Legend, Chuck Buell . . . (Hey, I'll give it to him ... 'cause I really like the guy!)

Make a Note for a Unique Listening Experience This Labor Day Weekend!

For the second year in a row, I have been honored to have been asked to be a part of Rock Radio History with the upcoming “Rewound Radio’s Big Online Three-Day Vintage Radio Labor Day Special.”

In the pre-Internet Days of the late 1960s through the early 1970s, two of Chicago’s premier and nationally respected 50,000 Watt Powerhouse Radio Stations, WLS and WCFL, were influential in presenting to the entire country the incredible early years of the beginning of Rock Radio and its Memorable Hit Music.

Now, Full Individual and Original Vintage Radio Hours from that era featuring an impressive collection of dozens of the Best and Most Notable Chicago On-Air Radio Personalities of that time and the Rock Radio Shows they presented on those two radio stations will also be heard just as they were on the radio then non-stop with no repetition. Along with many of my Radio Friends and Associates at least a couple hours from my radio shows when I was on WLS in Chicago then will also be presented.

All our featured hours will be complete in their entirety. That means the Songs, the Commercials, the Radio Station’s Jingles, and We too, everything exactly as it was broadcast then in pristine audio quality.

This year’s Special will be mostly “All New,” as additional “New” “Old” Show Hours that were not heard during last year’s Rewound Radio Special have been uncovered.

It all begins on Rewound Radio Saturday morning September 2nd at 6 AM Eastern Time and will air well past Midnight, Labor Day, September 2nd.

Whether you were a listener to Chicago Radio during this amazing beginning of Rock Radio and its Music or not, or if you have any interest in reliving or even discovering what Truly Fun Radio and its Great Music was like then, be sure to tune in anytime beginning Friday, September 2nd through Labor Day, September 4th and hear historically Great Radio just as it was heard then.

Here’s how you can listen.  Just click on this Button and then click on the Blue " Go to Link" that appears ~~~

I think you’ll enjoy The Weekend!

And thanx for listening!
