3/26/64 - Jule Styne and Bob Merrill's musical "Funny Girl", starring Barbra Streisand as Fanny Brice, opens at Winter Garden Theater, New York City; it will run for 1,348 performances 

Also on 3/26, former Beatles Drummer Pete Best appears on “I’ve Got A Secret”

Also on 3/26, “Muscle Beach Party” starring Frankie Avalon and Annete Funicello opens in theaters


Also on 3/26, Chuck Berry records “No Particular Place To Go”

Also on 3/26, “You Only Live Twice” is published.  It will be the 12th (and last) James Bond book written by Ian Flemming to be published during Flemming’s lifetime
