A little more of the same - but a nice surprise down there at the bottom of their Top 50 Chart -
Due to a layout mistake, they're attributing the "People Need Love" title to Mac Davis, when HIS current hit is "Everybody Loves A Love Song" (shown here as "Everybody Loves" and listed right above it, also miscredited.)
The "People Need Love" title belongs to Bjourn and Benny (and Agnetha and Anna-Frid, who are not credited as just one of the MANY truncated titles shown on this week's chart), which is the way they were billing themselves at the time. (To be fair, on many of the US pressings, only Bjourn and Benny were listed as these two songwriters were also trying to make it as a duo at the time.)
Two years later, they would achieve worldwide fame and acclaim as ABBA! So this early charting of their first Swedish Hit (in MONTANA of all places!!!) is quite the coup!!!
Cool to see The Move charting with their pre-ELO version of "Do Ya" ... again, an unexpected surprise ... and once again "No" by Bulldog, "Wonder Girl" by Sparks and "Alive" by The Bee Gees are also songs you didn't see on many Top 40 Charts at the time.
