12/26/63 – “I Want To Hold Your Hand” by The Beatles is released by Capitol Records in America. It will change the world forever. (Five million posters proclaiming “The Beatles Are Coming” will help to fuel the $50,000 promotional campaign to launch The Beatles in America.) Four weeks later, “I Want To Hold Your Hand” will be the #1 Record in The USA. Two weeks after that, The Beatles will make their first appearance on “The Ed Sullivan Show.”
