Today, December 18, is “National Twins Day!”
(OK, now I get it! - kk)
OMG! Can you imagine?!
While true Twins may know this better than I, because personally, “I’m Just a Lonely Boy! Lonely and Buell!” ( Paul Anka - 1959 ), the odds of you being half of a set of twins are guesstimated to be around 3 in 100.
Meanwhile, among the most well-known Twin Forgotten Hitters are probably Hal and Herbie - the Kalin Twins
Robin and Maurice Gibb of the Bee Gees
and Chuck and John Panozzo of the Original Styx
(And let's not forget Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, who followed their father Rick to the top of the charts in 1990 ... albeit with a slightly different look!)
Then, of course, there are these Classic Twins!
So, to any and all Forgotten Hitter Twins, “Happy Rama-Lama
Ding-Dong Twin-Day!”
And now, for when “seconds” count, this would be a good time for a Very Special
"CHUCK BUELL Two Times TWIN SPIN! TWIN SPIN!! Minute Medley MEDLEY!!”
CB ( which stands for not a “Carbon-Copy Boy!” )
*****
I swear, the minute you mentioned "some of the most famous twins," I FULLY expected to see a picture of Dolly Parton!!!
Stop it!!! - CB
And, of course, being from Chicago, born and bred, ANOTHER set of twins immediately popped to mind ...
Then there are these twins, who will forever be remembered in sadness ... but shown here in happier times ...
Incredibly, we now have THREE sets of twins within our extended family (which is actually pretty rare ... even 'tho they say twins tend to skip a generation) ...
Which got me to thinking ...
In all seriousness, can there be any greater insult in the world than your twin forgetting your birthday?!?!? (kk)
