60 YEARS AGO TODAY:
5/15/65 - Burt Bacharach and Angie Dickinson get married in Las Vegas. The marriage will last fifteen years.
My favorite Burt and Angie story comes from Paul Anka who says:
“One of the stories going around about Angie Dickinson was that she’d given someone a blow job while driving along Mulholland Drive. And somehow, that came up once … and somebody asked her about it.
“Angie didn’t even blink …
“’Yes,’ she said, ‘that was me. I was in the car with my husband Burt
Bacharach; we were married at the time, we were drivig home in the car, and I
gave him oral sex.’
“Angie was so cool, she didn’t skip a beat. She let the guy think about it a minute, and then she said, ‘And I, by the way, was driving.’”
