to be included.
A suggested donation of $10 (of course, we’ll take
more!!!) will help toward completing post-production costs of the authorized
film documentary about legendary DJ Dick Biondi, The Voice That Rocked America: The Dick Biondi Story, directed and produced
by Pamela Enzweiler-Pulice.
Hosted by Pam Pulice, Joe Farina, Scott Mackay and John
Records Landecker (and other surprise guests), this promises to be a fun filled
birthday celebration.
Biondi is the first disc jockey to play a Beatles
record in America.
He was also the #1 DJ in America in the early ‘60’s. He promoted the early records of Bobby Darin,
Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley … and was one of the first DJs
to play rhythm and blues records in the south.
He introduced The Beatles on stage at The Hollywood Bowl … and is a member
of the Radio Hall Of Fame, Illinois Radio Hall of Fame, the Southern Tier
Broadcasters Hall of Fame and The Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame … (and has
probably been fired from more stations than most disc jockeys have ever even
dreamed of working for!!!)
Please join in on all the fun … THIS SUNDAY, September
13th, at 2 pm CDT …
And get your birthday video in NOW so that you can be
included in all the festivities!
