Fugees and Journey have both cancelled their upcoming tours.
That being said, Pete Townshend says he’d like to make one more go ‘round with The Who before, in his words, “we crawl off and die.” Townshend feels they’ve still got one more new album in them and would also like to do a much more scaled down / more intimate tour.
Right now, it doesn’t sound like Roger Daltrey is especially interested in such a venture … but we all know how those things can change. (The two reunited last year for their “Orchestral Tour” … but Pete isn’t thinking anywhere near that elaborate this time around.)
Daltrey is now 80 … and Townshend 79. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see if they Join Together for one more ride on that Magic Bus. (kk)

If you’ve seen, and paid attention to, Smokey's long-running main signature message, “Only YOU Can Prevent Forest Fires,” you may have noticed it was updated some years ago to, “Only YOU Can Prevent Wildfires!” which, of course, is not necessarily totally true what with fire-starting villains like Lightning, Electric Power Lines, Volcanoes and Flaming Bird Carcasses!
( Hey! I don’t make this stuff up! A flaming bird carcass is a bird that’s lit ablaze after coming into contact with energized electrical equipment, falling into dry vegetation below and starting a fire! )
