Has there ever been a better Top Ten???

Imagine turning on your radio, 60 Years Ago Today, and hearing tracks like "Oh, Pretty Woman," "Bread And Butter," "The House Of The Rising Sun," "GTO," "Do Wah Diddy Diddy," "Remember (Walking In The Sand)," "Where Did Our Love Go," "Dancing In The Street," "Save It For Me" and "It Hurts To Be In Love" coming out on a regular basis!

You've got a little bit of everything here ... Motown, The British Invasion, The Girl Groups Sound, Roy Orbison, The Four Seasons and Gene Pitney, not to mention Ronny and the Daytonas and The Newbeats!  Radio didn't get much better than this!

And that's just The Top Ten!

The Top 40 also offered up the hits "Because" by The Dave Clark Five, "A Hard Day's Night" by The Beatles, "A Summer Song" by Chad and Jeremy, "Last Kiss" by J. Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers, "Maybe I Know" by Lesley Gore, "Under The Boardwalk" by The Drifters, "From A Window" by Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas and "You Never Can Tell" by Chuck Berry!

New on the charts this week are "Cousin Of Mine" by Sam Cooke, "I Like It" by Gerry and the Pacemakers, "Teen Beat '65" by Sandy Nelson ... and who could forget "The Anaheim, Azusa and Cucamonga Sewing Circle, Book Review and Timing Association" by Jan and Dean?!?!?  (No matter HOW hard you tried!!!)
