SECRET AGENT MAN (#10 in 2013)
Johnny Rivers had a monster hit with this one … #3 in 1966.
(The TV series didn’t have quite the same success … but it did have a very loyal cult following.)
The program originated in England as Danger Man. Starring Patrick McGoohan, it aired here in The States as Secret Agent.
McGoohan would garner greater attention when he assumed the role of The Prisoner a couple of years later.
Last time around, “Secret Agent Man” came in at #10 ...
So it makes a VERY impressive leap up to #5 this time around!
