1972 SURVEYS: March 31st - VIRGINIA

Not a whole lot of surprises on this WMBG chart from Williamsburg, Virginia ...

But there are some great tracks represented.

Michael Jackson's got the hottest record on the countdown this week as his remake of "Rockin' Robin" leaps from #31 to #13, a jump of 18 places.

I'm surprised to see Paul McCartney's "Give Ireland Back To The Irish" charting this high again ... I don't think they even played that one here in Chicago.  Former bandmate George Harrison is represented on the album chart with his "Concert For Bangla Desh" album.

Personal favorites on this week's list include J.J. Cale's "Crazy Mama," "Could It Be Forever" by David Cassidy (my all-time favorite song by him) and "Rock And Roll Lullaby" by B.J. Thomas, which is the only other song on the list to earn an asterisk (and that's just for moving from #17 to #15!)
