1971 SUPERCHART: Week Ending January 9th

George Harrison's "My Sweet Lord" holds on to the #1 position for the fourth straight week ...

While this week's top debut belongs to another solo Beatle as John Lennon's "Mother" premiers at #67

The Bee Gees jump ten places with their first Top 10 Hit since 1969's "I Started A Joke" as "Lonely Days" climbs from #19 to #9

It looks like Diana Ross has another hit on her hands as "Remember Me" moves up 15 places from #44 to #29

And check out these movers:

"Get Up, Get Into It, Get Involved" climbs twenty spots from #60 to #40

Bobby Goldboro's "Watching Scotty Grow" makes a leap of 25 places (#71 to #46)

"One Bad Apple" is up 23 spots for The Osmonds (#93 to #70)

Also this week in 1971:

I've been trying to get Me-TV-FM to play this one for years now!

People LOVE this song ... yet radio refuses to play it!  (kk)
