The Jackson Five knock Three Dog Night out of the #1 position after only one week with their latest, "The Love You Save."  (Meanwhile, "Band Of Gold" and "O-o-h Child" look like likely contenders to take over the top spot down the line.)

Alive and Kicking continue their climb to the top, moving up nine spaces this week from #22 to #19 with "Tighter, Tighter."  Meanwhile, The Carpenter jump TWENTY spots (from #36 to #16) with "Close To You," a sure-fire summer hit for the duo.

Also making impressive moves of 12 points each are "The Sly, The Slick And The Wicked" by The Lost Generation and "Are You Ready" by Pacific Gas and Electric.

Hot premiers this week include "Make It With You" by Bread, "Mississippi Queen" by Mountain, "Spill The Wine" by Eric Burdon and War and "In The Summertime" by Mungo Jerry.
