Myrna are granted a divorce after thirteen years of marriage. Jerry married her in 1957 when she was just
thirteen years old. Oh yeah … and she
was his cousin! (The move nearly ruined
his career.)
Jerry Lee just celebrated his 85th birthday last month.
November 19th – James Brown, The Godfather
of Soul, marries Diedre Yvonne Jenkins on the front porch of her house in
Barnwell, South Carolina. They would
divorce eleven years later.
