A Forgotten Hits Special Report

Now these “Not To Be Totally Eclipsed Total Eclipse” Details from our in-resident Forgotten Hits Solar Son Super Scientist, Chuck Buell …

As you may be aware, tomorrow, April 8, 2024, a Total Solar Eclipse will occur over the United States.

However, it will only be visible to a very select group of Forgotten Hitters in limited parts of the country as it crosses over from Texas to Maine.

Nevertheless, here’s a Fabulous Forgotten Hits Fun Fact for everyone!

Bonnie Tyler’s Number One Hit, “A Total Eclipse of the Heart” has historically experienced heightened popularity during full solar eclipses. In 2015, her song received a 214% increase of Spotify streams in the UK. During another solar eclipse in 2017, she performed her song live aboard the Cruise Ship, “Oasis of the Seas,” resulting in a 500% increase in digital sales internationally!

But falling a bit short of Tyler’s super song successes, it’s said that Kent Kotal’s similar Solar Eclipse singing attempt with his soulful rendition of just one of the many Forgotten Hits Theme Songs, “Don’t Say You Don’t Remember,” resulted in a questionable statistical bump in Forgotten Hits readership but, so far, that stat remains unverified.

And regrettably for me, even utilizing the natural, perfect reverb effect created in my own personal shower pod, my similar Solo Solar Eclipse singing style of the Marcels 1961 Number One Forgotten Hit, “Blue Moon,” has so far reaped no personal benefits for me whatsoever.

Here then are those songs for your dining and dancing enjoyment.
