THE SATURDAY SURVEY

The Beach Boys notch their second week at #1 with "Help Me Rhonda" while The Four Tops make a HUGE leap into The Top Ten this week with "I Can't Help Myself."  (It climbs from #20 to #8!)

Noticeable movers outside The Top Ten include "Mr. Tambourine Man" by The Byrds (it vaults from #41 to #16, a move of 25 places), while "Wonderful World" by Herman's Hermits ALSO moves up 25 spots (from #50 to #25).

Also climbing 20 spots or more are "Yes, I'm Ready" by Barbara Mason, "What The World Needs Now Is Love" by Jackie DeShannon, "You Really Know How To Hurt A Guy" by Jan and Dean (up from #80 to #58), "Oo-Wee  Baby I Love You" by Fred Hughes, "Give Us Your Blessings" by The Shangri-Las and "I'll Be With You In Apple Blossom Time" by Wayne Newton.  (Hmm ... other than those first two titles, I don't remember any of the others making any kind of lasting impression on the music scene, do you???)
