10/6/65 – With their latest release still climbing the charts, Gary Lewis and the Playboys record “She’s Just My Style” and “Sure Gonna Miss Her” … two more monster hits to come.
Also on 10/6, The Supremes release “I Hear A Symphony.” It, too, will go straight to #1 … the group’s sixth chart topper in the past 15 months.
Also on 10/6, Rick Nelson performs “Love And Kisses” on “The Adventures Of Ozzie and Harriet.” It was the title song from Rick’s new motion picture.
This one should have been a hit. (The movie, not so much!)
