We're crankin' thru the #1's here lately ...
"My Love" falls from the top spot after just one week to make way for Lou Christie's "Lightning Strikes" ... who is already being challenged by Stevie Wonder's "Uptight," "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" by Nancy Sinatra and "My World Is Empty Without You" by The Supremes, all rounding out The Top Five.
But it doesn't end there ...
S/Sgt. Barry Sadler is racing up the chart with "The Ballad Of The Green Beret," already at #14 in only its third week on the chart. "I Fought The Law" and "Elusive Butterfly" are also making significant moves.
And don't ignore Herman's Hermits' latest, "Listen People" ... it skyrockets fifty places (from #84 to #34) in just its second week on the chart. (Dean Martin's up nearly 40 places with his latest, "Somewhere There's A Someone" ... it moves from #94 to #55 this week!)
