"These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" walks all over the competition and right up to the top of the chart this week as Nancy Sinatra does her best to keep her family tradition alive. (Every kid who hears this song today, sixty years later, falls in love with it all over again. It is a timeless classic!)
S/Sgt. Barry Sadler is right behind her, fighting his way to the #3 position (up from #14 last week) while The Mamas and the Papas and The Four Seasons also grab Top Ten spots this week.
Herman's Hermits' "Listen People" continues to make meteoric strides up the chart (#84 to #34 to #11) ... seems like this one can't miss!
And, thanks to the hit TV show, "Batman Theme" by The Marketts is also doing very well ... it climbs from #37 to #22 this week.
"Homeward Bound" is up 19 spots for Simon and Garfunkel ... and The Rolling Stones have this week's top debut as "19th Nervous Breakdown" premiers at #38.
