The reason we bring this up (other than the fact that
this entire series really shouldn’t be missed by ANYONE!) is because Best Classic
Bands is running a piece today on the 50 Most Essential Rock and Roll Albums of
1967 on their site.
Now I can’t say that I agree with ALL of them … but
then again who could possibly agree 100% with ANY list like this??? … I don’t
even agree 100% with the lists that WE run!!!
(lol) …
But it still gives you an interesting time capture of
what the music of 1967 had evolved into.
Definitely worth checking out …
