What a shame that the pandemic not only cost this country over a million lives but ALSO created a complete lack of interest in working again!!!

In some cases, new hires are not showing up for their first day of work.

offers then not showing up the first day and even vanishing from existing
positions – all without giving notice.

Here in our area, it has now become a common practice to offer Hiring Bonus (aka Sustaining Bonuses, meaning that in order to collect, you actually have to stay on the job for 90 days, proving you are a worthy candidate worth hiring and keeping onboard.)
So sad that
this is what things have come to.

Well, just the other day, while I was sitting in a parking lot, the driver in the space next to mine forcefully opened his door without checking and slammed it into MY CAR creating a dent which cried out for a Wile E. Coyote Silhouette Decal of my own!
For crying out loud, Kent, I thought we discussed you using your Powers only for Good!!

BREAKING NEWS:
This just in:
Yesterday we told you about the upcoming Fugees reunion and
that it would likely include a new album, a movie and probably even a tour.
Boy, what a difference a day makes!
Now not only has a tour been confirmed (and it’s a WORLD tour
at that!) but the first several dates have been announced. (In fact, in what seems to be a growing
trend, they are expected to put on a warm-up show TODAY somewhere in New York
City, at a thus far undisclosed location, to be announced at the last minute ala like what Metallica did here in
Chicago the other day!)
In fact, after today’s performance, the group will continue
to rehearse during the month of October, finalizing their other plans, before
kicking things off again right here in Chicago at The United Center on Tuesday,
November 2nd!
The rest of the announced dates (and planned dates and areas)
are shown below, with more expected to be announced. (C’mon … you don’t launch a world tour and
then only play in a dozen cities!!!)
Obviously, this has been in the works for some time in order to pull off the impromptu show today! Another one of pop music’s well-kept secrets, I guess!
