3/21/64 – The Beatles’ single "She Loves You" goes to #1 in the US and stays there for two weeks, replacing their first US hit, “I Want To Hold Your Hand.”

Also on 3/21, The UCLA Bruins win The NCAA basketball championship by beating The Duke University Blue Devils by a score of 98-83 in Kansas City, Missouri.  During the 1963–1964 regular season, the Bruins won all 26 of their regular games and all four playoff games.
