The Mamas and Papas climb from #10 to #3 with "Monday Monday" in only its fourth week on the chart. Meanwhile, The Beach Boys and Herman's Hermits continue to rise ... while The City of Chicago finally has a bona fide rock and roll hit on the charts as The Shadow Of Knight's "Gloria" makes it into The Top Ten. (It will reach #1 here in Chi-Town.)
"Rainy Day Women #12 and 35" makes a 25 point leap to #16 while "How Does That Grab You Darlin'," " A Groovy Kind of Love," "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine" by The Walker Brothers, "The A-Team" and "Love Is Like An Itching In My Heart" by The Supremes all make impressive moves of (21, 27, 21, 25 and 45 places) respectively.
