60 YEARS AGO TODAY:
10/13/66 - The Jimi Hendrix Experience make their first live appearance at the Novelty in Evreux, France, as a supporting act for Johnny Hallyday
Also on 10/13, Country Singer Dolly Parton marries Carl Dean. They were married for nearly sixty years until his passing last year. Sadly, Dolly would follow him in 2026. She will be sorely missed.
