6/24/65 – John Lennon’s second book, “A Spaniard In The Works,” is published
It was an immediate best seller, selling over 100,000 copies and going through four printings in its first four months. However, reviews were generally unenthusiastic, comparing it as significantly weaker than his first published work, "In His Own Write" from the year before.
