A couple of readers inquired about Jim Peterik's reaction to Donald Trump using "Eye Of The Tiger" in his new AI Video showing how HE scored the winning goal to win the medal for our US Hockey Team. (Thank GOD for the Donald ... we couldn't have won this thing without him?!?!)
As we've seen in the past, Trump rarely goes thru the proper channels of getting permission or licensing to use all this music he continues to post ... but boy, you can sure count on one thing ...
He will ALWAYS take the credit for ANY positive US press. (kk)

After his surprise holiday recording “Red Coat Santa” single hit the top on the U.K.’s Heritage Chart, Freddy Cannon has quickly returned with a new release for 2026, entitled “Everybody’s Rockin’ Tonight (2026 Boom Boom mix)” - which has already debuted on SiriusXM’s 60s Gold Channel.
Says Cannon, “This song came about because after all these years, I wanted to show my fans that I was still a true rocker. The lyrics came to me from my memories of doing live concerts and how the crowd would start dancing and it showed me those fans were into me rockin’ out. This was especially true in the U.K. I think writing a good song comes from the inspiration you get from the people you love, your closest friends, and fans who believe in you. I will always write what’s in my heart.”
Cannon, who holds the record for the most-ever appearances (110) on Dick Clark’s immortal American Bandstand, rocks out in his patented style, certainly recalling “Tallahassee Lassie," "Way Down Yonder in New Orleans" and "Palisades Park” – which Steve Van Zandt credits as one of his life-changing records.
Freddy, a fan of horror movies, wrote and sang the theme titled “The Svengoolie Stomp” for the ME-TV Saturday night host Svengoolie.
