Today, We're Dropping A Nee ... which, of course means the latest installment of our brand new interview series, hosted by Phil Nee of WRCO Radio!!!

Today we feature a 'two hit wonder' from our Those Were The Days archives.

I first heard of the group Sugarloaf in the late summer of 1970 playing a song called Green Eyed Lady.  The single version made it to number 3 in Billboard that fall.

Lead singer and keyboard player Jerry Corbetta joined me on the air in 1995 to talk about that record.

I first heard the song Don't Call Us, We'll Call You in early 1975.  It was hard to believe that it was Jerry Corbetta's group back on the charts after five years.

The song was a tongue in cheek (also the name of their second single, which hit number 55 in Billboard) look at the music business.

The group faded again after this single and Jerry went on to work with the Four Seasons.  Sadly, we lost him in 2016.

Today from the archives we feature audio about Sugarloafs' second top ten single.
